Outdoor fabrics are incredibly hard to find, and to have an outdoor fabric in the most beautiful print and colourway is just THE BEST! Now what should we make? Some cushions for our outdoor benches? Outdoor beanbags for the pool? Cound we recover an outdoor umbrella???

This fabric is made of recycled polyester, and it is printed in the Unikko pattern. The fabric is suitable for outdoor use, and it has a water-repellent surface, as well as an UV protective finish that helps keep the colors bolder for longer. It is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Unikko was created by Maija Isola in 1964 and has since become an international icon of print design. The founder of Marimekko, Armi Ratia, believed that it was not possible to faithfully capture the true essence of real flowers in print, which is why floral prints were earlier excluded from Marimekko collections. So, Maija Isola designed Unikko to be an abstraction of a flower rather than a photorealistic rendition. Today, Unikko is a powerful emblem of joy and creativity, seamlessly integrated into Marimekko´s design identity.

• Increase the Quantity to increase the cut length of fabric.
• Eg Qty 5 = 2.5m
• The fabric will be cut as one piece.
