Marimekko Veljekset Collection
In the rush of modern life, people seek tranquility. They want to travel to places where the air is clean and forests are vast. They are looking for a purpose – some kind of a meaning for the things surrounding them. Choices are made more sustainably. Timelessness is a value.
In 2017 Finland, the home country of Marimekko, celebrates the 100th anniversary of its independence. To celebrate this, Marimekko designer Maija Louekari has created a mystical print called Veljekset (brothers), a pattern inspired by Finnish folk tales and animals that live in the forests of Finland.
We hope you love it as much as we do!
