Rather than trying to explain this product to you, I thought I would just share the words of the designer Jane Foster...

What is very prominent in my mind is how much suffering there is in our world. What I long for is a more peaceful world, where there are no more wars, suffering and heartache. I know this is out of my control and the only part I can have a small influence over is how I am at grass roots levels, with my friends, family and community.

Over the years, Jane and I have shared our thoughts and worries about the world and I am so happy to have this collection in our store, in our own little attempt to share peace, love and joy at a grass roots level ...

The brooch is made from birch veneer with a matte finish.
