almedahls - Ailanthis Cotton Fabric (Sold by the Half Metre)

Ailanthus or Tree of Heaven is a real gem from ALMEDAHLS archives, created by Louise Fougstedt-Carling. Louise was a well known Swedish textile designer of the 1970's that loved colour and bold design.

This delightful, large-scale floral pattern with a classic expression, but also shows traces of the seventies, the decade in which the pattern was created.
