The Keikari blouse is one of the many gems of the Marimekko archives that have been chosen for reproduction. It is made of cotton with the light grey and white Piccolo pattern and it has a short Mandarin collar, a V-neck and small pintucks that adorn the bodice. The blouse has a loose cut and it has voluminous gathered sleeves that have pintucks at the sleeve seams and feature double-buttoned cuffs.

In her first year at Marimekko in 1953, designer Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo, a striped fabric painted with freehand brushstrokes. Three years later, a Piccolo print shirt called Jokapoika became the first piece of Marimekko menswear to hit the stores and the streets.
