Marimekko Pilkkoa Basso Jacket

Marimekko's Summer 2026 is just AMAZING. We were lucky enough to view it in the Helsinki Head office and it felt like a dream come true! The collection had a huge response at Copenhagen Fashion Week and we are just so excited to have it in our store!

The Pilkkoa overshirt has a relaxed, straight fit, and it features the Basso pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The overshirt has a pointed collar, a button closure, and one chest pocket. The sleeves have slits, pleats, and button closures at the cuffs. There is a yoke seam in the back.

This product is made of a cotton and linen blend, which contains 43% recycled cotton, 34% organic cotton, and 23% linen.

Our overshirts are cut using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary. Each item is unique.

Stripes have always brought rhythm to Marimekko’s design language. Maija Isola’s 1973 Basso is a bold diagonal stripe pattern born to take center stage.
