Marimekko 2023 Vinde Pikkuinen Unikko Bodysuit

We love our beautiful Marimekko little people. It is always so special to have watched our customers through their pregnancy and then see their new little bundle all wrapped up in their new Marimekko outfit, that we know has been made with love and will last for years and years and be passed on to siblings, cousins & friends.

The long-sleeved Vinde bodysuit is made of soft cotton in the Unikko (poppy) pattern. It features snap buttons on the left shoulder and a triple snap closure on the bottom. It has ribbed binding at the neckline, sleeve ends and leg openings.

Unikko (poppy), symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.
