A friend recently gave me a pre-loved Marimekko cotton shirt dress which she found in an op-shop and I literally haven't taken it off since. A classic cotton shirt dress just ticks every box for me and I am so happy to have this wonderful dress arrive just in time for Summer.
The Popliini shirt dress is made of organic cotton poplin, and it has a relaxed, A-line fit. The dress is printed in the Piirto Unikko pattern. It has a pointed collar, a concealed button closure, side seam pockets, and short sleeves with cuffs. The dress has a curved hem, and it comes with a separate D-ring belt.
Piirto Unikko is a stylized, airy variation of the beloved floral created by Maija Isola in 1964. It nods to minimalism while emphasizing the graphic lines of the Unikko pattern.
