Marimekko Asetelma Kukasta Kukkaan Dress

Marimekko's Summer 2026 is just AMAZING. We were lucky enough to view it in the Helsinki Head office and it felt like a dream come true! The collection had a huge response at Copenhagen Fashion Week and we are just so excited to have it in our store!

We could not possibly do Marimekko's Summer collection jstice without THIS dress. It is definitely the highlight of the collection!

The Asetelma dress has a slim fit, a straight top, and a flared cut hem and it features the Kukasta Kukkaan pattern. The dress has an O-neck in the front and a deep V-slit and button closure in the back neckline. The dress has short sleeves with wide turn-ups, side seam pockets, and a narrow, separate belt. The bust darts give the dress a more fitting shape. The dress has double-stitched seams.

This product is made of 100% organic cotton poplin.

Marimekko dresses are cut using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.

Erja Hirvi brought the joyfully blossoming Kukasta kukkaan print to life during a burst of creativity at her summer retreat, fully immersed in floral inspiration. The loosely conceived pattern emerged as she painted, capturing the myriad ways flowers appear in nature. The Finnish name of the design translates to “from flower to flower” – a nod to the playful flight of bumblebees among summer blooms.
