Pappa Sven Knitting Retreat -Learning the Basics of Lace and Cable Stitches- Sunday September 6th

We are having our very first little knitting retreat, pretending we are sitting in a wooden cabin somewhere in the Finnish forest, knitting away with friends we haven't met yet and enjoying lots of beautiful Nordic inspired food!
We'd love you to join us.
Knitting is the focus, but the food will also be a highlight.
This workshop will be run by Valerie who is a very talented & experienced knitter, a lover of wool & natural fibres and a really calm, positive person to learn from.
About the workshop:
We will be making the Laurelette Mini Scarf, Designed by Courtney McFarland (Each participants will receive an individually purchased copy of the pattern).
You will learn basic lace stitches SSK, ktog, yarn overs and simple 1/1 cables to create this beautiful scarf.
Learn to follow a chart.
1 x Ball of Vuonue Pentti Worsted Yarn (in the colour of your choice)
We will provide a light Fika Break, and a classic Nordic lunch to break up the day.
What to bring:
Please bring 4mm Knitting Needles to complete the project (or contact us if you would like us to source these for you)
