Marimekko 2026 Palindromi Piccolo Linen Shirt
$410.00
When we were in the Marimekko showroom in Helsinki, our Finnish colleague was wearing this beautiful shirt with the matching wide la\eg pants and she just looked FABULOUS!
The Palindromi shirt has an oversized, straight fit and it features the Piccolo pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The shirt has a pointed collar, a concealed button closure, and loose, elbow-length sleeves with narrow cuffs. There is a yoke seam and a pleat in the back and the hem has a curved cut and side slits.
This product is made of 100% linen.
In 1953, the very year she joined Marimekko, Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo, a striped fabric pattern painted with vivid brushstrokes. Three years later, the Jokapoika shirt made from the fabric appeared in stores and on the streets – for good, it seems.
