We have always been so proud to stock Lapuan Kankurit products in our store, but our recent trip to the mill in Lapua just made us fall in love with their products even more. Totally dedicated to the art of weaving, the environment and supporting Finnish designers from the ground up we just love everything about Lapuan Kankurit!

Kaksin is a collaboration between Finnish designer Armi Teva and Lapuan Kankurit.

“KAKSIN is a true representation of how most of my work comes to life. I started by drawing different kinds of flowers and plant illustrations, and the shapes came about almost by accident – what if I drew this big flower with a swan’s neck as a stem? And then I tried some more things, and more ideas came forth. The design was quite literally born in front of my eyes.”
