Come to Sweden - Propaganda Tray
Come to Sweden also have a range of vintage propaganda posters in their range and we just loved this one , so we have added it to our collection in both the poster and the tray.
Since the prohibition period, efforts have been made to work for sobriety in Sweden with the help of posters. The dangers of liquor have traditionally been warned by a grim saying, with the devil lurking in the glass.
What was completely new about these posters from the 1950s and 1960s was the humor. Instead of a threatening tone and intimidation about ruination, there were bright colors and fun slogans.
These classics put us in a good mood, and we hope they bring a smile to your face as well! No matter what you pour in your glass.
The slogan shouts in Swedish: ”Sober and stable – Keeping you able”.
