Bjørklund - Cheese Slicer Coloured Handle

We have had so many requests for years for genuine Nordic cheese slicers, however I had never able to find anything that looked like it would really slice the cheese properly ... until the day a Norwegian family came into the shop and started talking about the Bjørklund cheese slicers and Helene then told me that this was the cheese slicer that her parents always had when she was growing up. And hooray here they now are at Pappa Sven.

Made in Norway with a 10 years warranty

The name Amitto is taken from Latin and can be translated as rejecting, loosening or letting go. When cheese reaches room temperature, it can easily stick to the cheese grater. To reduce this problem, Bjorklund have developed Amitto. With a mechanical treatment of the steel, it has a non-stick surface. At the same time, it gives a cheese grater that cuts better and has a surface that stays nice longer. The handles for both the cheese graters and knives for Amitto were designed by Joachim Mustad. Joachim wanted to give the cheese grater and knives the best possible grip while also giving it a modern Scandinavian design. In this series you will find models that are suitable for most types of cheese. Amitto from Bjørklund1925 loves the dishwasher and has a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
