Arvidssons is a family run textiles business which was founded in 1949 by Halvdan Arvidsson. Their fabrics are all produced in Europe and certified by Oeko-Tex 100 which means they are produced without chemicals that are harmful to the environment. We love their commitment to the enviornment and to celebrating authentic Scandinavian design.

"Leksand with Dalahästar" captures the traditional and folkloristic spirit of the Swedish province of Dalarna. Each horse is individually designed with meticulous details, from the characteristic curved necks to the rounded shapes that give them a cozy and friendly character. B
The cloth is completely compostable. If placed in food waste/compost, it decomposes within 8 weeks. The cloth is washable at 90 degrees and can be placed in a washing machine or dishwasher. The dishcloth absorbs 15 times its own weight.

Carola Bengtsson-Malmström worked for Arvidssons for many years and designed, among other things, a whole series of Dalahäst patterns.
