Created in 1964 when Marimekko had banned floral designs from their collection, Maija Isola however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints. The iconic Unikko (poppy) was one of the designs in that range along with Vihkiruusu.
We love this little bowl with the Vihkiruusu design in monochrome which is perfec for serving desserts, fruit, nuts and for using on a platter.
