We absolutely love all of the gorgeous Wool socks from our Swedish friends, Öjbro, so you can imagine our excitement when we found out that they also weave the most divine wool blankets in the same designs!

"With the Futhark pattern,  I wanted to use runic writing and carve my rune in a pattern, it says "we honor our cultural heritage". The concept of cultural heritage is my way of bringing history into the present.I love our common Scandinavian cultural heritage.Most of us can find a name in the Viking Age.I have the good fortune to be called Åse whose name is Åsa Haraldsdotter a legendary queen and grandmother to Harald Hårfager. It creates perspective and gives me a feeling of belonging in Scandinavia.Our shared cultural heritage gives us a secure foundation to stand on in the face of our new era."
