Matti Pikkujämsä’s hilarious sauna patterns are long-standing favourites for the whole family! For men MIESTEN SAUNA sauna cover and a pillow are ideal as a sauna companion. The illustrator Matti Pikkujämsä is an award-winning graphic designer. He won the Finnish Illustration State Award in 2015 and Illustrator of the year award 2019. Matti draws inspiration from the nostalgic features of the Finnish everyday life, finishing the art pieces with warm humour. Matti Pikkujämsä has been working together with Lapuan Kankurit since 2010 and many of his classic designs can be found in our collection.

Lapuan Kankurit weave their sauna textiles in their weaving mill in Lapua, Finland, using fully traceable raw materials: European long-staple linen and bio-organic cotton. Their unique finishing facility, located next to the weaving mill in Lapua, allows them to give these textiles a high-quality finish. This means that, with proper care, the textile will retain its shape in home washing and maintain its form wash after wash.

The sauna pillows can be also used as a travel pillow. It’s also the perfect companion to take along  to a yoga studio or for a day at the beach.
