Kauniste - Woodlands Zip Pouch Black

Kaunis is the Finnish word for beautiful.

Kauniste means to decorate or to make beautiful. We just love everything about this beautiful Finnish textile company.

All Kauniste textiles are made in Europe from spinning of the yarns to printing and sewing of the final product. The signature fabric is a mixture of linen and cotton. Cotton makes the fabrics easy to care for, while linen is a strong and lint free fiber. It gives the textiles a beautiful, light shimmer. 

The fabric production follows the Oeko-tex standards to make sure the textiles contain no harmful chemicals to human skin. 

The pouch is decorated with a unique forest pattern designed by Laura Carlin. Woodlands features birds and animals that are peeking from the caches of trees. 

The pouch has rounded lower corners and a metal zipper. It can be washed in the washing machine in 30 degrees. Dry the pouch laying it flat. All of the pouches are little different regarding where the fabric pattern has been cut.
