Marimekko 2024 - Akviferi Piccolo Linen Shirt

We have a real soft spot for a linen shirt at Pappa Sven, and often need to search through our young adult daughters wardrobes to retrieve them. Seriously timeless!

The Akviferi linen button-up shirt has a relaxed, straight fit and it features the Piccolo pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The shirt has a collar, a front button closure, a back yoke seam with pleats, and a long, curved hem with side slits. The cuffed sleeves have slits and button closures.

In her first year at Marimekko in 1953, designer Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo, a striped fabric painted with freehand brushstrokes. It is still loved today!
